The 16-year-old girl who was the first to get 100 million followers on TikTok
Charli D’Amelio, who is only 16 years old, has become the first person to reach 100 million followers on TikTok.
She is from Connecticut, United States of America. The Norwich resident took to Twitter to thank fans for her historic achievement.
Like many others, she has been sharing videos taken from her bedroom on TikTok. Apart from TikTok, her success on other platforms has also skyrocketed this year. She also became the first person to reach 50 million followers in April.
She made her first voice acting appearance in the 2019 animated film Stardog and Turbocat. She has also shot commercials for international fashion and cosmetics brands.
Her first book, Charli: The Ultimate Guide To Keeping It Real, will be released later this year.
