India successfully launched 36 satellites
India has successfully launched 36 satellites into Earth orbit carrying a large LVM3 rocket, the Indian Space Research Organization announced.
The LVM3 rocket, India’s largest and most powerful payload rocket, was launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Center in the western Indian state of Andhra Pradesh at 12:07 am local time on Sunday.
“LVM3’s M2/OneWeb India-1 mission has been successfully completed. All 36 satellites carried have been successfully launched into their designated orbits,” the Indian Space Research Organization said in a press release.
