OPPO and OnePlus’s 4G due to Nokia’s copyright infringement 5G smartphone sales banned in Germany
Nokia sued OPPO and OnePlus in Germany for copyright infringement, and in July of this year, the Mannheim District Court of Germany ruled that Nokia’s 4G, Nokia won because it was found to be using 5G technologies without a valid license. After winning the court in Germany, the next step is for Nokia to launch their 4G in Australia. OPPO and OnePlus have been sued for infringing SEP (Service Enable Platform) patents by using 5G technology. There are ongoing lawsuits in some European countries and some Asian countries.
